Alexis Baugus, LPN, BS

Alexis achieved a Bachelor of Science from Cumberland University and her LPN from Tennessee College of Applied Technology.  Her career in healthcare began in 2019 and her passion for this field was shaped early in her life through her close relationship with her grandparents. She takes great pride in the difference she makes by helping our rehabilitation patients transition home safely, while also supporting long-term care residents throughout their recovery. Whether a patient is preparing to return to the community or continuing their journey in long-term care, Alexis believes every step forward matters. Watching patients grow stronger, gain confidence, and ultimately have the option to discharge home is one of the most rewarding aspects of this role with her goal being to always empower patients with choices, support them through every stage of their stay, and celebrate each milestone along the way. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her family and relaxing with a good book and a warm cup of coffee.
