Melinda Williams, LPN

Wound Care Director

Wound Care Director

Melinda graduated from the TN College of Applied Technology. She has been a nurse for nearly 10 years, with the last four years spent in the role of Wound Care Nurse at the Gallatin Center for Rehabilitation and Healing. Her interest in healthcare grew from a desire to help others and make a meaningful difference in people's lives, especially during challenging moments. Through her work, she has found the field to be both rewarding and motivating, reinforcing her commitment to continuing a career focused on compassion, responsibility, and service to others. Melinda’s favorite part of her role as a wound care nurse is seeing wounds heal and knowing that the care she provides contributes to a patient’s recovery. Watching progress over time is incredibly rewarding, especially when patients regain comfort, mobility, and confidence. Just as meaningful are the relationships that she builds with her patients throughout their healing journey, as trust, consistency, and compassion play a vital role in both their physical and emotional well-being. In her spare time, she enjoys spending quality time with her two sons, making memories together, and simply being present with them. Melinda loves being outdoors in nature, whether it’s relaxing outside or exploring new places, and she especially enjoys traveling and experiencing new environments. Karaoke nights with family are always a fun way to connect and laugh, and she also cherishes playing with and loving her three dogs, who bring so much joy and energy into my life.
